    1. Optimization advice

    B. Main on-the-page factors influencing your ranking

    1. <HEAD> area:
    <TITLE> tag

    1. Your keyword is not present in the Title tag! Your keyword should appear at least once in the Title tag, but it doesn't appear at all. Put the keyword into your Title tag or you'll be unlikely to rank high.

    META Description

    1. You have too many META Description tags! 2 META Description tags were detected on your page! Writing more than one META Description tag will waste your time but will not have any real positive influence on your rankings. You may safely remove all META descriptions except the first one.

    META Keywords

    1. You have too many META Keywords tags! 2 META Keywords tags were detected on your page! Using multiple META Keywords tags makes no sense as it does not help your page rank higher. Leave only one META Keywords tag on your page.

    2. Your keyword weight in the META Keywords is too low! When it comes to this tag, the higher the keyword weight, the better. Meanwhile, on your page, keyword weight doesn't come to more than 13.3%. Try to remove the least informative and least relevant keywords, thus increasing keyword weight.

    2. <BODY> area:
First heading on the page (H1-H6)

    1. Your page either has no <H1> headings, or has no text in the first heading on the page! It is crucial that your keyword appears in one of these headings. We also recommend that you put an <H1> heading as close to the beginning of your page as possible. Search engines traditionally consider text in the headings to be essential, and having your keyword there will positively influence your website's overall optimality.

    ALT image attributes

    1. Your keyword is not present in the first 3 ALT image attributes on your page (or there are no ALT attributes at all)! If you have images on your page, put the keyword in one of these ALTs as they are considered more important than the rest of the ALTs on your page. Even though ALT tags haven't gained much importance with Google, the Yahoo! and Windows Live search engines pay much more attention to them.

    2. Your keyword frequency in ALT image attributes is too high! Your keyword shouldn't appear more than 3 times in ALTs on your page while it appears 6 times. Remove redundant occurrences of your keyword for ALTs with your favorite HTML editor.

If you search the forum you will find a great deal of information regarding SEO and what actions can be taken to better it.

Some of the above would need template changes and if you don't feel confident to do them then I think that you should expect to pay a specialist for information on how to interpret the points and make the changes for you.
You may find that the people on the forum, although very helpful, won't have the time to give so much free advice.

IMO you may be better off upgrading to v8 to see SEO benefits, unless you you know how to use the Actinic templates in v6 very well - which I suspect you don't hence your posting.

They could but then they would have to tell you how to correct every other page on your site as you have only analysed the homepage.

As Duncan says ALL the answers are already on the forum - check my posts as I have answered many of them in the past.

And as Duncan says upgrade to V8

As well as searching this forum to find out how to make the changes that require Actinic know how (ie how to edit templates), you should also search SEO forums to learn how to optimise a website - for this exercise you ignore the fact that you have an Actinic site and focus on how to write a page title, how to write a product description, meta tags and so on.

          Thanks for your answers.
I listen to your advises and I just updated to v8, hoping that it will be easier for, as I m not an expert. I will try to start it again from scratch as i guess if i do just an upgrade, it won't solve the problems

Good move. You will find v8 much easier to use after getting used to it.

V8 has much cleaner code and will help with your SEO efforts - upgrading will still keep lots of junk

I would advise a lot of people to go and use directly V8. Easier...
Doing everything from the begining, but it's worth it.
Can someone tell me if the site file should be stored in the programs files, or in the documents? I did cut and past it back to the program section, like the version 6.

it's quite normal for it to be in the documents folder. Thanks to Vista (compatibility etc) it is the default location for the Site1 folder.

Doesn't hurt to have it there, it just takes a bit of getting used to!

                    Many thanks.

What I m actually trying to find out is,

I want my website to be in different language, at least the products, how should i link the translation with the original product in the english section? Should I create a different product to keep it simple?
