    Sibling Page Question

    Hi Everyone,

I have a problem with my section/sibling structure that I cant quite work out.

Within my site I have a Widescreen TV section. I am restricting the thumbnails pages to approx 12 products per page. The problem is now that I have to create another page to hold another 12 products which is fine. The issue I have is how to hide the 2nd sibling page so that it doesnt appear on my left hand navigation. I have tried to hide that particular page but all that does is restrict the next page link from the 1st Widescreen page. Is my structure the problem? Has anyone else come across this issue? To explain please check the link below:

Any help would be appreciated =)

You need to put all of your sub-sections, i.e. each page of 12 products next to each other at the same level:

    Televisions:
    Page 1 for TVs
    Page 2 for TVs
    Page 3 for TVs

This will then mean that you do not have sub-sections within a section that contains your first load of 12 TVs and the next and prev should then work.

With those new pages though, wont they show up on the main navigation bar to the left, meaning that when a user is trying to find a product the menu will show Widescreen TVs, Widescreen TVs 2, Widescreen TVs 3 , Hi fi Systems, HiFi Systems2etc.?

What I was trying to do was keep the nav simple and somhow allow the user to only get to the new widescreen pages via the previous and next links below.

Is it possible to hide the new pages so that they dont show up on the nav bar?
      Regards.

I'm afraid not. The only thing you could do is write your own navigation by hand and link it to Actinic's sections exactly as you need to.
