    Shipping Configurations

    I've registered with UPS Tools, it's configured to ship by weight, I've selected the UPS Shipping methods I want but I still keep getting this error when I try to place a test order.

    "Select Shipping Destination - The catalog shipping database does not have any shipping options defined for this location. Please contact us directly with your order."

    Help.

    btw.. I'm using v. 6.1.3.1

    Hi there.

    Could you try going to view | business settings | Shipping and handling and try selecting "if shipping band not definined - use default charge".

    Then upload your site.

    I think the problem is coming from the Actinic side of things rather than the UPS side.

    Could you place your URL so I can take a look?

      I made the changes as you suggested and I'm not getting the error now but now it's just charging the default shipping charge of $6.50

        Thanks for doing that.

        Could you go to Could you try going to view | business settings | Shipping and handling and select do not allow shipping.

        Next click on the Service Providers tab" and then click Valid locations. The table on the left shows the valid locations and the right table shows the avaialble locations. You can move locations between the two tables by double clicking on the desired location.

          Hmm.. I tried your suggestions but now I'm getting:

          Select Shipping Destination - The catalog shipping database does not have any shipping options defined for this location. Please contact us directly with your order.

          I've tried a US, Canadian and Italian address and I still get the same thing. Any other thoughts?

            Support UPS shipping

            We had asked you to submitt a support incident via the US support form. I think we could have resolved your issue by now.

            I looks to me like there is an issue either with the registration of the ups shipping providers or a problem with the shipping configuration.

            My first guess:
            re register the UPS online tools

            second go too view | business settings | shipping tab
            delete the zones and classes in the standard shipping table
            Select shipping providers tab
            in the shipping class list check ALL the shipping class boxes

            save and refresh the web site
            test

            go back and uncheck the classes in the table you do not wish too use.

            This will most certainly fix your issue.
