The tax zones and selection of countries only appears in the Advanced tax option.

I understand that if you add the Channel Islands as new countries you can end up giving them a country code that doesn't match the country code on their credit cards (UK) which may causes problems with authorisation. I'm not authoritative on this. It has been mentioned on the forum before.

I have a nasty feeling that changing the tax settings to advanced adds an extra page to the checkout... but I can't remember... so long ago... anyone happen to know of the top of their heads what the implication is?
