More help please!
I've got Actinic running fine on a Linux server, but have just tried porting it to a win 2000 server (where our clients site is)
I've been given the paths of the CGI bin by the hosting company but when I try to configure the network upload I get this message after the CGI and root directory screen:
<<Run Web | Configure Web Site Details
an error occurred while attempting to change permissions on the ActinicBasicCgiTest.pl The FTP server returned a reply code of 553. The current permissions of the file are 0644 and the required permissions are 0755.
The connection wizard will not continue.
Please configure your network settings through the advanced network settings dialog.
Contact actinic support for any assistance you may require. >>
I've seen one other thread regarding this but it wasn't too helpful.
How can I change file permissions on my Win 2000 box before this file is uploaded? Or is it something that is the hosting companies problem?
Dave
