Possible to still accept orders although no stock on v7?

At the moment on our site, if there is no stock for the product then the "out of stock" message appears where the "add to basket" icon is if there is stock.

is it possible to set actinic v7 so that you can still take the orders even
if stock level is showing zero?

Try changing the suspend level to zero. I suspect that will turn it off.

Easiest is just to remove stock monitoring on the particular product.

I have set my suspend value at -5

This allows me to take up to 5 back orders.
