Hello, I have recently noticed possible additional files in my ftp acatalog file. They end in .save and .session. Does any one have any idea what these files are and if they should be there ( I have changed a few of the number in the event that it’s some form of security number…

This is normal. 'session' files are shopper session (cookies) that haven't expired. 'save' files are those which the prospect decided to save at checkout. You can ignore them.
