PC Crashed and dead. Help recovering sites

My PC crashed and i had to reinstall the Operating System.
I did not have site snapshots of the sites, but i did manage to copy the Folder that Actinic Developer was installed to, which contains all my sites.
I have now got my pc sorted and reinstalled developer and copied the sites from the old folder into the new installation but Developer does not see these sites when i go to the sites list.

How can i recover these sites.?

create the sites using add site and the license key, then copy the contents of your sites into the site's newly created folder
