Downloading orders to 2 different machines

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to download orders from the site to 2 different installations of Actinic.

I'm the web developer and I have a copy of Actinic installed here but whenever I download orders the client, the person who processes the orders, can't download the same ones.

Is there any way to achieve this?

Not really. The only person who should be downloading orders is the client.

You could make a copy of the .ord and .ocx files before doing a download and then re-instate them so the client could download them again, but I wouldn't be surprised if that messed up something so I can't really recommend it.

OK that's not too great. How about importing orders from a CSV?

If I select the orders, right click and choose "ReExport to Files" it generates 4 files: orderlines.csv, orders.csv, payments.csv and persons.csv. If I send them to the client can she import them to her orders list and process them?

I'll tell my installation not to download any orders from now on.

Why are you downloading orders?
