Does Discount show before due date?

If I schedule a discount for say February in the Restrictions section will this also keep the "Description of Product" from being shown on the order page UNTIL the start of February?

I wouldn't want to show an up and coming discount on the order page and deter customers from ordering now but I would like to be able to put in a sequence of discount plans to track conversions.

Any one know?

If i view the offline Preview the Description obviosly shows up but I don't know if this is how it will behave on the server, that's my reason for asking.

I don't have a test site on the server.

If you switch to Test Mode then Actinic will load up into a test folder, independant of your running site.
