help - State/Province not being read!

My hosting provider has changed their server (Hypermart.net) and things went nuts on our website! Now, when a customer tries to check out, it will show their state/Province but, when they progress to the next page, things go nuts, there is a text next to State Province, Country and Ship that reads as follows:

    INVOICEADDRESS4Oklahoma (Change button)
    INVOICECOUNTRYUnitedStates (Change button)
    SEPARATESHIP (Change button)

I have FINALLY gotten the process to work (before, if State/Province is required, it would not pass it through to the next page). I changed State Province to Optional (Which I DO NOT like!) but, at least it works. Any ideas on how to get the required back in so it will pass to the credit card authorization fields?

      Tried...

But still get the same error. I was able to do a 'work-around' by making State Not required, which does not send the state info into the order or into the Authorize.net page.

When I uploaded after doing what you directed in the previous post, it came out exactly the same. What is confusing is that this site has been up and running since Feb and has never had this problem. Ideas?

If you view it now, it should not have the problem since I made it not required to enter the State.

        Hi,

I haven't been able to recreate the problem on a default store. This problem is usually to do with the version of Perl running on the server and how it parses the data. The fix that you have tried usually solves this problem. However, I haven't seen it were you only get it by making one field 'required'. This is most odd.

Can you ask your hosting company whether they have installed a different version of perl when they changed server and what that version is.
