We will need some more info to be able to help.
Can you describe when it is not on view vs when it is?
Are yo ureferring to brochure pages or section pages?

    A URL would help also.

The section list appears on the left hand side and when you click on an item it dissapears, I want it toi stay there permanently, it is only on view when you first go into products section. I have uploaded what i have built so far, to show you - with one product only!

Actinic V7 allows you to use different Templates for different areas of the shop. It looks like you've only put the menu in one of them.

Go to Design / Options / Layouts and look in Primary Templates. Edit these to add the code you want into each.

Also look on the Brochure tab for the one that controls the Home and other Brochure pages.

Your left hand column is made up of tables.
The table including the menu is apparent on the first Product page but is not there on the subsequent page.
Either it uses a different template or you have deleted it.
I presume this is the same in V6, as it is basic html. Otherwise you should be able to edit it yourself.

Look at your site in Firefox. Then get Firebug and look at your code.

I didn't know until I went and looked and sure enough it's the same.
