Would like to remove the "Search" link

Hello. We have only one product in the site, so its useless to have a search engine. We have managed to remove the search button to the bottom left of the page, but.....in the top of the links, i cannot remove the search here -

[ Home ] [ Site Map ] [ Terms & Conds ] [ Search ] [ View Basket ] [ Checkout ] [ Contact Us ]

Ive managed to removed the "Search" but now i get this -

[ Home ] [ Site Map ] [ Terms & Conds ] [ ] [ View Basket ] [ Checkout ] [ Contact Us ]

Its a bit unprofessional (removed that in View - Design - Navigation). Is there a way so i can now remove the 2 brackets? Thank you.

Hi Richard

This wil happen if you remove/comment out the code from the layout " Search text link" . I suggest that you go one level up into the layout "Horizontal Nav Bar Text Links" and remove/comment out the following piece of code.

"<actinic:variable name="NavigationIcon" value="Search Text Link" />"

Actually, in v6 this is slightly easier. You just need to remove the image filenames from the 'Design | Navigation' screen, as well as the label 'Search'
