    Suspend warning flashes

    How do I stop that.
The site is to be suspended for ordering for a few weeks, but customers may still wish to browse. The flashing warning is most distracting.
    Can anyone help?

        Apologies for lack of info.

This is the site in question (it's the homepage in my profile )

Go to any product listing and you'll see what I mean.

          Hi Roland,

When I go to any product page on that site I don't see anything flashing. Maybe a screenshot of what you see might help.

Just provide the URL, there is no confusion then on what you are on about. Help us to help you etc...

I see no flashing items on about 20 pages i looked at, so not sure what you are talking about. Once again, help us to help you, provide a URL to a specific page with the problem.

59 people told you the same message in case you think about having a strop.

              Your suspend message has

              HTML Code:
<blink>This web site is temporarily for viewing only. Please return from 26th March 2008, when the full product range will again be available.</blink>
The <blink> HTML tag is the key to why it......blinks!

incidentally the <blink> is only seen by Firefox/Mozilla browsers as for once MS got something right and removed support in IE for this HTML tag.

Also your on V6 and using frames.
I'd strongly advise you to upgrade design to frameless on and possibly even upgrade the software to the latest version.

V9 is looming large and compared to V6 is a whole different beast with a plethora of marketing features to help you make more money.

Thanks to all, especially Fergus. Blinking brilliant response, and now fixed.

Apologies to all if I came across with the wrong attitude – it was totally unintentional.

                    That must be a first
