    Website not working

    Version 6

If an item is placed in shopping basket and Checkout selected, the standard page with details of what's been purchased appears briefly, followed by:

Your shopping cart is empty. Return to the catalog and add an item to your shopping cart before continuing.

Please wait for your browser to forward you to the next page or click here.

Which is also only displayed briefly before returning you to the catalogue.

    Any ideas anyone?

    I get this error.

    A General Script Error Occurred

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error: Error opening ./acatalog/86Z155Z229Z177A1203680043B5868.session (No space left on device)
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner
Which implies you have no HD space left.

You should also know that there is a difference between urls/links with www. and those without and that your current homepage link from the forum doesn't have www. and your server isn't set up to handle those kind of links.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a bit under-informed on these things. When you say I'm short on HD space, do you mean space on my PC or space allocated by the server?

I don't understand the other point.

      Thanks

        1. Server.

        2. The link on the forum from your profile goes to http://em4miniatures.com/

i.e. no www. in the link. This doesn't work.

OK - thanks. I'll modify the link from the forum.

The odd thing is that some people are able to order from the website OK and some (like me) can't. I've tried in both Internet Explorer and Firefox so it doesn't seem to be a browser problem.

It seems to be OK to me now.

Check your browser privacy settings as Actinic needs to store cookies on the visitors PC. Medium-high is usually OK.

Also try deleting the actinic cookie on your PC as it may have been corrupted at some stage.
