Error on Website Upload & Refresh

Having a problem trying to upload/refresh website. It gets most of the way through and I get the following error message.

"An error occured while merging files on remote site. The website index has been corrputed. Catalog is unable to update the index.
Copy ../acatalog/fulltext.fil to ../acatlog/oldtext.fil failed. Please refresh the site."

But get same error when refresing.

Hi Kathy

Normally you get this error, if the permission of the .fil files are not set to 777. Please could you check with your web hosting company about this, and set all .fil to be a permission of 777, or if they are using windows server;

1. Read
2. Modify
3. Read & Execute
4. Write
5. Full Control

If it has just started happening then you could also try deleteing all *.fil files from the 'Site1' folder on the PC and from the 'acatalog' folder online and doing a refresh.
