    Act_Productline.html problems

    I refer to this site: www.madcan.net

    1) there's too much space between my banner and the content in the productline pages and the shopping cart pages ...can't seem to work out how to get rid of it?

    2) why aren't my product references being automatically generated - have ticked approp. box in Business Settings / options - but can't see them anywhere...?

    3) also too much space above quantity box on product pages..how to get rid?

    here's the code:

    <!-- ProductLine HTML begin -->
    <!-- Insert HTML for the top of the individual product -->

    NETQUOTEVAR:INCLUDE Act_ProductSeparator.html
    NETQUOTEVAR:ENDSEPARATOR
    NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTFORMBEGIN
    <tr>
    <td rowspan="2" valign="TOP" align="CENTER">

    NETQUOTEVAR:TEMPLATEBEGINXML NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTIMAGE </td>
    <td valign="TOP" align="LEFT" colspan="2">
    <a name="NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTANCHOR"><span class="actregular"><b>NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTNAME</b></span></a>
    <span class="actxsmall">NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTREF <br>
    NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTDESCRIPTION<br>NETQUOTEVAR:EXTINFOLINK</span>NETQUOTEVAR:EXTINFOBUTTON
    <span class="actxsmall">NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTBEGINLINKNETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTLINKTEXTNETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTENDLINK
    NETQUOTEVAR:PRICEEXPLANATION</span>
    <b>NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTPRICE</b>
    <span class="actxsmall">NETQUOTEVAR:OTHERINFOPROMPT </span>
    <span class="actxsmall">NETQUOTEVARATEPROMPT </span>
    </td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td align="LEFT" colspan="2"><span class="actxsmall">
    NETQUOTEVAR:CARTERRORXMLNETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTQUANTITY<br>
    <Actinic:ACTIONS>NETQUOTEVAR:ADDTOCARTBUTTON</Actinic:ACTIONS>
    </span>
    NETQUOTEVAR:TEMPLATEENDXML
    </td>
    </tr>
    <tr><td align="LEFT" colspan="2"><em><a href="#top">(back to top)</a></em></td></tr>
    NETQUOTEVAR:PRODUCTFORMEND
    NETQUOTEVAR:NEXT
    <!-- Insert HTML for the bottom of the individual product -->
    <!-- ProductLine HTML end -->

    (1) In your Act_Primary.html have you got any <br> tags before NETQUOTEVAR:BULK?

    (2) Have you got Business Settings -> Options -> Hide product references in Online Catalog ticked?

    (3) Design -> Text -> GoTo ID 2220 and delete the <BR> tag. This will remove one line space.

      1) yes - ta - have got rid of <br>'s in actprim.html

      2) when I tick the Auto generate prod refs box - it greys out the other options, so erm..no...I haven't ticked the Hide box cos it's not an option...?

      3) marvellous - no idea what that was all about but great anyway...

        Not sure about (2) then... I always use my own prouct references . Perhaps Ben/Chris or one of the others could shed some light on it.

            Alternatively, if you don't want to input product references, switch on the auto-generate whilst you are adding products to the catalog and then disable it before uploading to the site. However, if you want to display them on the site, it's probably best to have some consistency between online product refs and the client's offline ones.

                You should see this field in Product Details | General. Attached is an image with the maximum quantity field highlighted. If you enter a value of 0, there will be no maximum order quantity and customers will be prompted to enter the quantity.

                        I got your email. Looks like you have the 'Order Quantity Always One' checkbox enabled in Business Settings | Ordering.
