500 internal server error

In www.poppyrocksshop.com a "500 internal server error" is being caused when a customer tries to add an item to their basket.

Naturaly I assumed this was a problem for the hosts to sort out but upon investigation they said that everything was fine with the server and the problem was with the script:

"The error_log file, located in the logfiles directory of your webspace, shows that your script may be causeing the errors you have reported :

[Tue Apr 1 21:59:14 2008] [error] [client 86.138.157.22] Premature end of script headers: /home/fhlinux182/p/poppyrocksshop.com/user/htdocs/cgi-bin/ca000001.pl

I have uploaded a test script to http://www.poppyrocksshop.com/cgi-bin/fhtest_willow.pl (pass 1666484) which is fully operational and shows that perl/cgi is working on the server with no issues.

You will need to check your scripts if the errors you have reported persist."

Does anyone know what may be causing this problem and how it may be resolved?

This kind of problem has come up before. Try this thread http://community.actinic.com/showthr...mature+headers as a starting point and failing that a search for 'premature headers' is likely to bring up the relevant threads.

Go to Advanced / Network Setup and run the Test that's there. It tries running a basic test Perl script. Report what you see.
