Unfortunately, I'm not much of a wizard and I have had some trouble. I need help.
My website is running just fine, but within Actinic on my desktop, I was starting to add a link to a YouTube video. Under 'links' on my desktop, I pasted the embedded code without adding the !! at either end. I now get an alert box 'data truncated' and many of my fragments seem to have disappeared.
Fortunately, I have not uploaded the broken site to the web. However, the broken site backed up automatically. When I open it, it will not work properly.
My husband helped me to .tar the correct site online. I know three of the files that were changed: Backup.mdb, actinic.css and P_Links.html.
I have tried to restore just actinic.css and P_Links.html from a previous backup, and that did no good whatsoever, still get 'data truncated' error message, so I deleted the restored files and renamed the originals.
I want to bring the good site down to my desktop, but I cannot figure out how. I am fearful of doing anything with the backup.mdb file. Can someone please advise me?
I do have an appropriate .acd file from 01/08, but I am fearful that I will lose the sales I've had since then.
