    Can't upload! Payment Service Provider, PayPal, failed to register properly

    I had to install Actinic on a new computer for my client today - currently using 7.0.7_HCFA. I keep getting the error message:

    Payment service provider, paypal, failed to register properly - class ID({AC060055... etc.})

    I reinstalled the Payment Service Provider module as suggested in another thread and that didn't work.

    Then I reinstalled all of Actinic. That didn't work.

    Other ideas?

    Thank you!!

    When I tried to attach the log files, the attachment screen said "Invalid file", so I ftp'd them:

    Hi Heidi,

    class ID({AC060055... etc.}
    This looks like a v6 id rather than a v7 one. Where did you get the PSPSetup.exe file from that you installed? I suggest that you uninstall the PSP module and then run the v7.0.7 software installer again and ensure that you install the PSP module at the end. Ensure that Actinic is closed when you do this.

      I didn't install it from a separate PSPSetup.exe - I used the v7.0.7 installer - first time used i did the custom install option and only chose the payment service provider check box. The second time, I specifically uninstalled the Payment Service Provider piece and then used the 7.0.7 installer to do the custom install again. The third time I installed all the actinic pieces using the 7.0.7 installer. Actinic was definitely closed for all the attempts.

          It's the US version

          I just tried a "repair" on the payment service providers module, then fully uninstalled it and reinstalled. Result: same error msg (see attachment)

            Hi Heidi,

            I've emailed you the US PSP Setup file for v707. Can you try uninstalling the 'Actinic Payment Service Provider Component v7' (and v6 if installed and you are not using v6) and install the file I've sent to see if that helps please.
