Shop going on SALE question

Ok, I have the following question on how to make this work.

My online shop, that is running Actinic V7, is going on sale.

If you order 1 or 2 products from the sale, you will just be charged with £4.99 PER item. But if you order 3, you will only have to pay £12 for 3 items. When you add a 4th product, that will be again 4.99, and if you order 6, you offcourse get to £24.

How can I make this work in Actinic V7.

Hi,

The only way I can see to do this would be to set the price of your sale items to £4.99 and put all your products on sale into one product group. Then set two discounts up - 'buy any 3 for £12' and 'buy any 6 for £24', with the following settings

........................3 for £12............6 for £24
Based on: ..........Quantity.............Quantity
Trigger:..................3......................6
Reward Type:........£ off.................£ off
Reward Value:.......£2.97...............£5.94
