Reappearing product / section wierdness

Hi all,

Has anyone ever come across this:

* Random sections auto-deleting themselves in Actinic.

and

* Deleting products or sections manually in Actinic and refreshing the website still yields those products / sections on the site in-spite of them not being in the catalog?

Typically, this is what happens when someone tries to add one of the 'deleted' products to their cart:

A General Script Error Occurred

Error: The specified product (reference 2!609) has just been removed from the catalog. Please return to the catalog and continue shopping. If you press the Refresh or Reload button on your browser, the removed products will no longer be visible in the catalog. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner

Hi Phil,

The reference number shown '(reference 2!609)' suggests that this is a duplicate product. Have you deleted the original product from the content tree or the duplicate and if you have deleted the original product, can you check if the duplicate still exists on the tree? I would also suggest that you try a purge & refresh (Help | Troubleshooting) and specifically remove the .cat and .fil files.
