    Weird v6 problem after upgrade??

I have just upgraded from v4 to v6. However, although all my network settings are the same I now get the following error when I test the connection...

"An error occured while checking the FTP transfer mode -- There are no more files. Try using the other mode."

If I just refresh or upload the site (ignoring the above message) the files go up but when the site gets to the 'merging incremental updates...' part of the upload I get an error message saying...

"An error occured when merging files on the remote server. Bad catalogue Username or Password. Check your Housekeeping /security settings and try again. If that fails, try refreshing the site"

I have checked the username and password and they are exactly as they are in v4 (which I still have installed)

If I now go and look at the site (www.webscientific.co.uk/acatalog/) the new design is there but if I attempt to add items to the cart I get the following message...

    "A General Script Error Occurred

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error: Setup blob version is 25, but only version 23 is supported.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press the Browser back button and try again or contact your ISP."

Why am I now getting these messages? Everything was OK in v4! Please help!

    Thanks in advance - Ben

    Problem with perl script

    Hi there,

I am sorry to hear that you are having difficulties, but I believe the following solution should rectify the problem.

Locate your Actinic ecommerce folder via Windows explorer than locate the original folder, copy all the files with the .pl and .pm extension files from the Original folder and paste the files into your ‘Site1’ directory.

Having to do that could you please open up Actinic Software go to Web | Refresh website.

    Thank You
