" Selecte state/Province if applicable"?

I want to remove the "/Province if applicable" from the checkout page.

Where do i find this to delete it?

Is there a way to show the tax only after the buyer has selected the " Selecte state/Province if applicable"?
right now it shows the tax in the shopping cart for Florida residents. what is the buyer is not from florida. he still sees the tax until he selects the State he is in.

I want to have tax shown only if the buyer selects FLORIDA, and for all others Not show the tax.

Is there a way?

reason i want this changed is because, a buer in california, when tries to check out, sees Florida tax, says, what the hell is this? he is hesitant to push the NEXT button to choose California.

Hi Mac

You can change the text of this sentence in Design Text | Phase: -1, ID: 194, or you can remove the box altogether by getting rid of states/provinces in Advanced | Locations.

Go to 'Business Settings | Tax' and change the 'No Tax Levied' tax zone (in the square in the middle) to be the 'Default Zone' (by selecting the appropriate box).
