Not so much a technical question but one that I would appreciate anyone’s input on
On our site we offer the ability to pay by credit card using PayPal or WorldPay and also credit card details sent sep and cheque or postal order.
The problem we are having is the wordage to use to let people know what the credit card details sent separately option actually implies. It seems that no matter what we use people seem to get confused!.
We now have the options listed on the web site as:
Credit Card – online using WorldPay
Credit Card – online using PayPal
Cheque or Postal Order
Print Order Form For Off-Line Credit Card Payment
And people are still confused! They select the last option and then ring to say they cant pay on-line. Hmmmm. I am almost at the point of taking the last option there off but some people don’t like using on-line payments so we don’t want to lose them.
I have looked at trying to add some text to the page that has the payment options on to explain but it doesn’t seem to appear. Its possible I'm using the wrong page? Which one should I be editing?
So anyway…any thought or experience of what works for anyone else would be great.
Thanks v much
Andy
