    Error: Illegal component/attribute combination

    Hi

We are getting the following error message:

    A General Script Error Occurred

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Error: Illegal component/attribute combination
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Press the Browser back button and try again or contact the site owner

on this page - http://www.aquaproductsonline.co.uk/...od_Slings.html - when you try to order a 6 Rod Sling and complete rod sling system.

The only change that has been made recently is that the customer has removed a 5 option.

Has anyone come across this before?

    Thanks

    Martin

are you sure that the combo you tried to order is marked as 'valid' in the permutations, if there are any?
If something has been deleted, it might be worth compacting the databases and refreshing the website to see if this fixes it.
    Just a thought anyway

        Hi,

There was an issue in v7.0.6 whereby deleting a choice caused corruption in the other choices. The workaround was to moved the deleted choice to the end of the list. This was fixed in v7.0.7 so I would suggest upgrading to that.

the other alternative is to use a script that actinic sent me a very long time ago.

it basically reshuffles the items to make them work again. if someone at actinic still has this, then perhaps they can send it on? i have lost my copy, we moved to v8.

Hmm, I didn't come across a script in my search for this but I'll take another look and see if I can find it (although I would suggest upgrading is the best thing to do).
