uploading additional files

hi actinic , can you make it so that when adding additional files for upload, it accepts the * character so we can choose to upload all files in a particular location ?

2. can we have the netquotevarroductref available to all templates please, because its unique on the site, you can use it for all sorts of lateral purposes...
