Act_Section_Tree.js - Slowing down our upload.

Hello,

Our upload has always taken a long time (around 45 minutes to upload a single price change for example). But, lately, when our upload gets to Act_Section_Tree.js it takes a further hour to upload this single file, and Actinic turns into a blank white screen until it finally decides to finish the upload. This has only been the case for the last week or so.

The file itself is only 8mb, and hasn't changed dramatically since before this problem, so should not really take as long as it does! Is there a way we can stop Actinic uploading this? We do not use it in our site, everything is hardcoded.

Have you tries simply <!-- comment --> out the code in the Act_Primary templates? That is a notoriously bad code and most people do away with it.

We have removed those lines completely. It hasn't been part of our templates from day 1 as it always slowed down the way the site ran online.

This is just the general uploading, not browsing the site.
