No borders in Firefox

Hi, I am customizing template with CSS and experiencing differences between IE and Firefox. More or less I was expecting this behavior, but only thing I can't currently figure out is that I can't see any applied borders in Firefox. In IE is all fine. Am I missing something in actinic.css?
Any ideas please?

Firefox unit declaration

I've found the problem now FF requires a unit
declaration when specifying borders; e.g., 1 will not produce the
border, but 1px will.
