Does anyone else find that their CGI Bin files very often accessed?

I had a look at the last month (August) through Matrix Stats (Fasthost's statistics application) & the breakdown of the top pages:

ss000001.pl 16% of all page views (& 23% of all session entry points)
nq000001.pl 8%
os000001.pl 3%
ca000001.pl 2%
sh000001.pl 2%
mf000001.pl 1%

The only other page in the top 7 is robots.txt

I normally upload around 1 or 2 times a day. According to these stats ss000001.pl has approx 60 hits for each completed transaction. Does this seem normal to you experts out there?

also another thread (search 'nq000001') says

The nq00001.pl script displays and logs script errors during upload/download.

I was just wondering what the nq one was actually as mine is wayyyyyyy high (knew the other few)
"order download" explains why mine is high as I download every 10 mins.

Also found:

If you use the YahooSections menu that is included with some themes then all links from that menu to your catalog pages also go through ss000001.pl. This would lead to a lot of log entries.
