Quickbooks Link ActiveX error

I have set up Actinic Business on a new machine. All went well except for this problem:

I get the error message "ActiveX Component cannot create object" when clicking the "Connect to Quickbooks" button in Actinic Link for Quickbooks 2003.

I've updated this Win98 machine to DAO v3.6, and registered the DAO360.dll file using RegSvr32. My DAOcheck util claims DAO 3.6 is installed correctly.

I've searched the archives here but did not find anything that has helped so far. Any help would be appreciated.

The only think I can suggest is run the mdac_typ.exe file within the MDAC directory on the CD.

This will install all the latest required Activex components for Actinic Link.

If you still receive problems, try re-installing Actinic Link and DAO (and re-registering the DLLs)

If you still have no joy, register a support request HERE and the team will be able to spend some time with you to sort out the problem
