Naming convention for pop up page name...

Maybe this is daft question...but I'll ask it all the same

When the popup page page name is generated it is info_xxx.html.

Is it essential that it is in this format ie. info_(then a number)?

Could it be info_(name of product) for example?

Does it need 'info_' there at all?

    Thanks,
    Jonathan.

I've changed my info pages to whatever I want and never had any problems, as long as each name is unique.

That is what I would have thought.

But when we try to update the site, we get an error message at the Checking HTML pages level, telling us that there is an invalid path.

If it helps the page name is: YonexISO23.html

I've just done a test on my site and changed the info page to YonexISO23.html, and it all worked fine for me. Does it work if you put info_YonexISO23.html?

What version of the software are you developing on? There used to be a problem if you left this field blank, but that is not there in 6.1.3.

I've just tried 'YonexISO23.html' and got no problems either. Could it be you have a section with 'YonexISO23.html' in the 'Page File Name' field.

Do you get an error whatever you try, or just with that specific page name?

Also, you aren't entering this in to the 'Layout' field by accident did you? I did this once.

We are using version 6.1.2 of Actinic..

              > I have checked that there is no section page name called YonexISO23.html

              > The page name is not in the layout field

              > I just changed the page name to arif.html and I still got an error.

It is probably something really obvious but I can't see it.
I have attached a screen grab of the extended product layout tab, if that helps

Do you get the same problem with any name, such as abcdef.html, or is it just YonexISO23.html? If it's just that one name, it's likely you already have a page called that name somewhere in the catalog.

                  Hi there,
Just having a look at the image you posted have you tried to put the description in the text field and use the extended info button to see if that will make any difference?
I notice you have text link specified to display the pop up by, but there is no [LINK] in the text box.

                  Cheers,

                    Jacy,

The extended info pop up page has no text, there is only an image.
To see what we have at the moment go to
                    http://www.badders.net/acatalog/rackets_yonex.html and click on enlarge.

What we want to do is change the pop up page name so that we can track our products more efficiently from log files.

                    Thanks

                      Jonathan

I think we are officially at a loss on this one.

Could I ask you to register a support query HERE and the email support team will be able to investigate further.
