    Order Download Problems

    Afternoon all,

had Actinic for a while but been too busy to spend any time on it until now.
I sent this message to one of the guys in Actinic and Protx, but no response as yet.
"running some test purchases on the site and when I try and download the
    orders I get the following:
"The server scripts are incompatible with this version of Actinic
    Ecommerce. Refresh the web site.
If this error persists. copy the perl scripts from the original
    subdirectory and try again.
    Server version = "6 CKVA". Client version = "6 CNNA". "

I'm using Protx as the payment gateway, I have followed their
instructions on updating the necessary Protx forms and OCCUpgrade.ini.
But on looking at the .ini file I see that the details show it as 1048
under the version but Protx instructions say the number should be 1045?

I am now running Catalog V6.0.2.0.0.0.CNNA (was running V5, and updated
    to 6)
I have reuploaded the site 3 times this morning (fortunately not a lot
there at the moment so it doesn't take too long) but still does not seem
    to resolve the problem."

    Any assistance gratefully received!!

    Problem with perl script

    Hi there,

I am sorry to hear the problems that you are having, however could you please try the following which I believe should rectify the problem.

I believe that you have the same site on two machines one computer responsible for uploading and one for downloading, which is causing errors.

What you need to de is make sure that both of the computers have the same version of software ie V6.0.2 CNNA and the perform the instructions below:

Locate your Actinic ecommerce folder via Windows explorer than locate the original folder, copy all the files with the .pl and .pm extension files from the Original folder and paste the files into your ‘Site1’ directory.

Having to do that could you please open up Actinic Software go to Web | Refresh website.

Also I believe that you have the same site on two machines one for uploading and one for downloading, if that is the case then the both
    Thank You

      Hi Menar,

I am only using one system but I think I know what may have happened. Original and very early pages written on box-1 using v5, upgraded to version 6 but no patch. Built new system (box-2)and relegated old one to server duties. Did a site snapshot on the old box - installed version 6 upgrade onto new box-2 and imported site snapshot.
By copying from the original (v6, box-1) into the version 6 (box-2) will I not undo some of the site already done? And when you say the original folder do you mean the v6 actinic root folder? or the Sites/site1 folder?
More questions but thanks for the reply!

      Andy.

As the site is not active yet, and I have only run some test orders - can I not just delete everything off the server and start again?
I only want to use the one box for admin the site - updates and orders etc., so I have no need to have another box with the s/w on it and of course, we can all delete things so much quicker!!!
Just seems to be an answer - drastic I know - that means I don't have to fanny about undoing the damage I may cause by copying folders/files etc over.
