After some server outage, I found I couldn't send emails from Actinic, although I could from Outlook. The error Actinic was:
{Customers email address}INET_aton failed - host not found
smtp.greenknightgames.co.uk - unkown error
I searched the forum and found this thread from 2003 (contains a couple of familiar faces)

A full site refresh fixed the problem, but left me with the question: how does Actinic (the application) send emails? I had assumed it went straight to the specified SMTP server. Why shouls it need a site refresh to sort it out?
