CSV exporting in version 7

Hi,

Our supplier has version 7 of actinic software.

We are wanting a csv file so we can upload to our online store there product range.

The only problem is when they go to do file|eport catalogoue they have the options (dat, text, csv) or something very similar, however the file is created as a dat file.

How do we get the system to create a csvb file?

Type in the filename and the file extension that you want.

CSv exporting / google base file

Thanks for the help got the CSV file but it was no better than the dat file, well slightly better if I am honest but still messy.

Okay, my supplier run the file, but it was messier than I thought it was going to.

The main problem is the attributes and choices, are presented on a new line.

however for us it would be better if all the data to the product was on one line.

Is there a google base file that can be generated and take the information from that file.

going to look at extracting the information in a different way, but that will leave me without the attribute information.

please let us know where we would find the google base file once generated.

So long as the products have not been selected to be excluded from the Froogle feed in Actinic then they could select to 'Export Froogle Data Feed' in Actinic which will give you the basic product information.
