    Shopping cart can not reach HSBC

    I have been using HSBC as a payment provider with actinic version 7 successfully for quite some time. Suddenly this morning my customers get as far as the https://secure.actinicsecure.com/cgi-bin/is_main.pl page, and get an error message saying "The connection to the shop can not be established!"

    The last thing I changed was the VAT first thing yesterday, and I have had successful orders up untill 10pm last night.

    I have searched the forum and checked the knowledge base, but I can't find any answers.

    probably worth phoning actinic support as it could be server related

      I'm getting hsbc orders through ok so it may be transient or site specific. Call actinic and see what they say as up suggests

              I see you got this issue sorted now on your site - I'm getting this message now too:

              "The connection to the shop can not be established!
              Please press the browsers back button twice and try the transaction again.

              If you continue to get this message please contact the merchant"


              can you tell me where the issue lay and how you resolved it please?
