Adding Purchase Order Number

We are designing an actinic business site for account holders only. There will be no online credit card processing.

We would like our customers to be able to enter a Purchase Order number when the order is made.

Is this possible?

If I were to simply add a field with a unique name by modifying the HTML code in page one will its value be held in each page as a posted variable or is it not written that way?

Hi there

Yes Actinic does have a purchase order number field.

Within the actinic software, if you go to "Design | Text | Web Site (cont) | Payment Details"

Here you will see Purchase Order Number, simply check the box to show it on the order page. The PO number can also be made to be a required field if you so wish
