I have received the following e-mail from my Actinic Catalog, but have never seen it before - can anyone enlighten me about the problem (The name and address details have been removed by me to keep it anonymous):

Following error has been displayed to a customer: An error occurred while
releasing the order number counter lock file. Permission denied

If this has only happened to one order then it may just be a network glitch at the time the order was placed. However, if it occurs for all your orders then take a look at this knowledgebase article.
