    Runtime Error! Terminates Actinic

My computer crashed yesterday, and after rebooting, I keep getting this error:

    "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C:\ACTINI~2\Catalog.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

I have done the following things several times each:
    - Run Registry Patrol
    - Run all windows disk checks, scans, cleaners, defraggers
    - Reinstalled Windows
    - Reinstalled Actinic
    - Compacted and rebuilt the Actinic.mbd with Access
    - Emptied my Windows Temp file
    - Checked for damaged device drivers
    - Read every Google and Actinic entry I can find on runtime errors and tried all those things.

Actinic opens, I can see my order in the window, and it looks fine from the outside. But the error won't let me in.

Any ideas???? I'm getting desperate and losing money rapidly!

Try another system, see if specific to the system you are on.

When this happened to me, and nothing I did would resolve the problem (it wasn't Actinic but another program), I ended up doing a reinstall. Of Windows It turned out the registry was corrupted beyond repair.

Back up everything you have got, just in case you need to do the same.

Log cabin leaking or the goats got in and chewed the cable?

Nope, frozen solid Am hoping the heating oil won't go the same way - we're expecting -8 this week. Thawing the pipes with a hair drier is not fun at 2 in the morning.

I loaded Actinic onto another computer running Vista, popped in the Site1 folder, and Actinic opened right up. So it was something in XP that was the problem, not Actinic. Thanks for your suggestions!
