    Creating an outer background image

    I am running V7 and would like to create an outer background for a site I will be creating. Similar to the example of www.urbanrider.co.uk

    I know it is possible in V9 to have an outer layer but don't know how to change this to an image rather than a colour - where would I need to change this? I have downloaded a trial version to have a look at.

    Is this something that is possible to create in V7? I don't want to use frames and am not very au fait with CSS.

    Any help / advice would be much appreciated.

    In v9 you would need to select a theme that has gives the borders in the background and then set 'Settings | Site Options | General tab | Store is using a background colour (not an image)' to 'False ' and then set the 'background image'.

    Yes, in 'Design | Options | Site Defaults' set the 'Background' to 'image' and ensure that 'NETQUOTEVAR:BGIMAGE' is in the <body> tag on your primary templates. This is rather a general way of doing it but if you want to completely change the look of your Actinic site then you may need to learn HTML/CSS.
