Add to cart from other site...

    Hello there,

I have managed to set up a small shopping basket site and have linked it from our main website as a special offers buy section, we have done this because we are not able to put 1000s of products on due to large order qtys.

Having the two sites can be very confusing for the user so what i was wondering is there a way to create a product page on our main site with a qty box and add to cart button that once filled in adds to the actinic site, would also have a check out and view cart option on regular site along with items and value showing.

the idea would be to bypass the actinic product pages and go directly to the cart. and then creat the cart template to be near on as possible to the main site. I'm not sure how google would like the hidden actinic product pages.

i was thinking of putting the product information on a similar page to this:
    http://www.emlltd.com/catalogue/01_P...le_bin_01.html

and then linking to here: http://www.emlltd.com/shop/cgi-bin/c....com%2fshop%2f

can anyone tell me if this is possible and if this would be a good idea, or maybe there is another way i could do this, basically i would like the site to look like one site rather than two. I have thought about adding the products that i'm not selling to the actinic site but i find working with the actinic template very confusing an difficult.

many thanks for reading my ramblings....
