    layout template

Hi. I've been messing about with this for the past 3 hours and I'm sure there must be an easy way!
What I want is all the products to be viewable, so you don't have to scroll down so much. I mean maybe 2 or 3 columns instead of one long one.
    My web site is
    www.mattsavage.com

I've read the help file and I can't figure out how to change the template. I've tried in Front Page, but I don't know how to have columns with the products.

Is there a template already in Actinic to do this?

    Please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Matt Savage

Take a look at the v7 AUG (Advanced User Guide http://downloads.actinic.com/docs/us...cedguide_7.zip ) on page 16 - Laying Out Your Products in Multiple Columns

look under settings ---> site options and think about what you want to change

        Thanks for your help.
Duncan, I've done what it said on the Advanced User Guide, and it's worked but it's messed up some of the other pages.
        The page I've sorted is,
        http://www.mattsavage.com/acatalog/chris_scott.html
        This looks fine.
        But this page,
        http://www.mattsavage.com/acatalog/c..._portable.html
        looks a bit messy.

I think I will have to tidy up each page, which does need doing anyway.

But, for now is there an easy way to have some sections as they were before?

        Sorry to be a pain!

        Thanks,
        Matt

You can restore from a previous snapshot or recover the database if you made a database backup.

Hi. I can put it back to how it was. But I wondered if it was possible to have one templete for one page and a different template for a different page?
            Cheers,
            Matt

Yes you can, if you look at the layout tab on the page in question, you can see where you select the overall template to be used for that page.
