    Download Problem

My computer froze and I had a visit from the dreaded Blue Screen yesterday.

Now all of a sudden the Download button on the top bar is greyed out. The upload button is still blue.

I have copied the whole Site 1 from the Shop PC where I download orders OK, onto this machine, that froze, that I use to update Catalog and add products and the download button is greyed out.

I guess it must be a problem with the registry, but where?

Normally if you do an upload, the download button will subsequently un-grey itself

I do not use this machine to upload or download, just to design pages and add products. I then copy all the files I have created over to my PC in work and then upload them.

I was wondering, if I added products into Catalog (with the button greyed out), copied the ActinicCatalog file over to my PC in work, will I get any problems?

That should work, as it is a registry setting that controls whether Actinic can upload or not.

          Thanks Chriss
Could you tell me what I have to alter in the registry to enable the download button to work again

It's probably easier to temporarily disable Catalog Maintenance in Business Settings | Options. This will disable the upload button and enable the download one.

In the registry there should be an 'OrdersProcessing' key with either Y or N as the value. Setting it as Y will enable the download button.
