Products for different countries and multiple payment

Ok this could be a difficult one to answer what i am looking for is -

Country specific products and country specific payment processors.

We would direct US customers to the US payment processors, UK to the UK processor, and everyone else to the French processor.

Now could that be done by one shop, or would i need multiple shops.

Or would it be better to have a simple map and route it to the relevant server/payment/e-commerce product.

Has anyone else had to think about and implement something like this.

    thanks

    Multi Currency payments

We (www.schoolofcolor.com) have three areas on our shop, one for UK, one for US and one for Australia - until recently it worked fine as the orders came into a central point and then sent out to the appropriate office and they took the credit card details and charged the correct currency. We set our prices to correspond with the correct currency - ie a book in the UK would be set at £25 and in the US the same book set at $32 - no problem when the paper orders come through - with the psp however and the change to a base currency of pounds customers in the US will be charged £32.

I would recommend that you have seperate versions of catalog for each country or groups of countries (Europe etc) - this means that you can set currencies for each site, automatic transcations can be charged at the correct currency. And you'll be better able to produce figures from sales.

    However, that's just my opinion!

You can have multiple payment service providers in one Actinic store. You can then label them how you want with the 'Web Site Description' field in order to help customers to choose the correct one. You can also use the 'Limited by Location' feature to limit which PSP is shown to which customer.
