Actinic Website backup and database?

Hi,

We've been given a site to revamp which is currently in HTML6 and uses Actinic ecommerce 7. The owners of the site do not have FTP access and gave us a backup of the site in a .acd file and access to their actinic software to run the file. However when we try to open the file we get a 'database' not found error. Should there be a separate database? Or are we doing something else wrong? We have no actinic experience whatsoever :-(

Install version 7 actinic on yor pc , go to File Menu, Import snapshot. Browse to the acd file your client gave you which you will have saved to disk.
