    Bad Hostname in SharedSSL Checkout

    An error occurred while recording your order. Try again or press "<Back" to select a different payment method or press "Cancel" and contact us with your order details. The error was: 500 Can't connect to www.over-clock.com:80 (Bad hostname 'www.over-clock.com')
    After putting card details into SharedSSL Checkout and hitting next, I get the above error...

    Any clues?
    Cheers!

      Hi there

      This is not a template issue, the error is saying that the SSL cannot connect to your website.

      Looking at you website and nqset00.fil

      I get the following information

      'CATALOG_URL' => 'http://store.over-clock.com/',
      'CGI_URL' => 'http://www.over-clock.com/cgi-bin/',
      'SSL_CGI_URL' => 'https://www.over-clock.com/cgi-bin/',
      'SSL_CATALOG_URL' => 'https://www.over-clock.com/',
      But when i go to your site, i can go through
      http://www.over-clock.com/acatalog/

      Your catalog url should be set to: http://www.over-clock.com/acatalog/

      How where the network settings configured?

      Kind Regards

        It's configured so that HTML for store is at store.over-clock.com (which is actually same as www.over-clock.com/acatalog)

        and cgi-bin is treated as separate server as www.over-clock.com/cgi-bin/

        It's worked fine for MONTHS like this up until this morning when for no apparent reason it's started throwing up this error for SOME users, but not all... which is confusing me further.... could this be a network issue on some ISPs??
        Cheers!

            See if it works for you... place a test order with VISA - 0000000000000000...

            We've tried on telewest broadband and legend dialup.... telewest gives error as above, legend won't even load secure.actinic.com... just gives a page not found error...

            However we still have orders coming in so it's definitely working fine for SOME users...
            Cheers!

                Def a template issue... gave up and copied in the original templates from Business theme and all works again... including the tax exemption issue in a different thread.
                Cheers!
