I want to add a special offer to the homepage or indeed the specials page (outside of the online catalog), what's the easiest way to do this so that the product is added to cart directly by clicking on the text / image?

Currently I have added a fragment to the specials page.

I have used an image and text layout with a hyperlink set up but i'm not sure what URL to enter.

Indeed, there is likely to be a much simpler way which I am unaware of.

There is no feature in Actinic to add an item to the shopping cart from the product page. Sorry about that

All you are going to be able to go is take people to the product page. You could always dress this up as 'Show more information'.
