I am setting up a site which requires a set price shipping for some products (not a problem), but for certain products they want to be able to take orders and advise of the shipping costs later.
The "Do not allow shipping " if shipping band is not defined, will not work in this case as they cannot complete their order and therefore may lose the business.
They only way I have managed to do this is to have set up a new postal Class - Called "We will contact you to confirm shipping costs", (then set up the products with a very low wieght, so this is the only shipping option that appears). This does not seem the most professional way of doing things. Has anyone else come across this requirement?
If it helps the site is on http://usertest.co.uk although this is very much still in development.
