Hi guys,

I have a question.. My company have given me VAT inclusive prices, such as 8.99, 17.99 etc.. And Ive had a look but cant work out how to set up Catalog so that these are the prices the customers pay, without adding VAT in the checkout, Is this possible? Whats the best way to do it?

Assuming all your products are inc VAT. I would cheat and price goods as zero VAT but state that the prices quoted include all UK sale TAX. I know this does not work for people outside the EU who are VAT exempt but if your trade is within the UK this seems to work.

thanks thats a good idea, Although I am expecting world sales, I know you can have different settings ofr different countries... I am just a abit confused by it all! Im sure I will work it out eventually...

Actinic currently only works with ex-VAT prices and then does VAT calculation depending on the customer location. The option to input VAT inclusive prices has been requested by many users and may make it into some future release (but don't hold your breath ).

It would be best if you could input ex-VAT prices so that your worldwide customers also get the correct prices. If your customers could also be companies then you should really provide them with a proper receipt showing the VAT.
