paypal activation

hi there,

my question is very simple, i'm sure the answer is simple too, i have a new web and want to activate paypal use for it, i go to business settings, payment and security. the i select paypal, in the configure box what do i put in the 'web site description' box? right now it says paypal, do i need to change this? the web designer already put in all the html and stuff needed to activate, all i needed to do was activate it once i was ready via this screen. but i still keep getting the message below when i start actinic:

You have elected to use payment service providers to process transactions online. The payment service providers listed below are in test mode :

PayPal

The customer will not be charged for any orders placed using these payment service providers while the web site has these settings

My paypal setup does not have a test mode however my worldpay one does, to change worldpay from test mode to live mode all you have to do is go to business settings, payment and security, select the worldpay (or paypal in your case) payment option and then click on the configure button, I then have options for 'operation' with a choice of operate in test mode or operate in production mode and I choose operate in production mode to make the site live. This should be the same for paypal if a test mode has been provided by Actinic now.

still not working

i cant find a screen that says go live or anything like that, do i need to check or uncheck the fallback box? what do i need to add in the web site description box? do i need to put my web site name there or just leave as paypal?

Sorry again for the hastle, but i cant find this activating thing you are talking about all i have is a buton for configure method thats it,

What do you see when you click on configure method when the paypal pament method is selected?

you have paypal selected as your payment provider, then click on "configure method"

website description is paypal
provider is paypal
merchant id is your paypal email address

Do you see a test mode for paypal Jo?

order recieved

i recieved an order today, my first, so i assume that its working, as the money is in my paypal account! but everytime i log into actinic it says that i am in test mode, thats wierd....

thanks anyhow, i think that answers all quieries anyhow.
